My family, human and doggy, live 1000ft up, on the side of the Vale of Llangollen on a 9 acre small-holding.

We welcome any age or breed of dog, or multiple dogs.   Problems dogs can also be catered for; feel free to call to discuss your requirements.  If your dog is also used to being kennelled, or even living outside, I can help you with your boarding.

All dogs have access to our 100ft secure 5ft panel-fence garden and we have a utility/kennel area for drying dogs off and keeping them safe if I am out and about. Dogs live as part of the family and are particularly welcome in our main room, where the day’s general activities occur.

Walks are carried out either in our own fields and woodlands, or we go up on to the top of the mountain for a real stretch around the quiet country lanes.

If your dog has any special needs, either medical or nutritional, these can be accommodated. Please note that if  your dog is on a natural diet this can easily be catered for.

If you wish your dog to still keep a vet or grooming appointment during its visit I can also do this for you  for a small additional charge.

If you would like your dog to have any residential training during its stay please feel free to discuss with me any  problems you would like to address and possible fees applicable.

Our life at Ty Newydd is very much geared around our dogs and  I take a very holistic approach to their care and well being.

My main aim during any dog’s visit is to ensure they are happy and that they stay safe.
